When to See Urgent Care Center

Urgent care is a clinic for walk-in patients, it provides ambulatory care. It is not necessary to have an appointment if you visit our Urgent Care Center: if you or your family members have any non-life-threatening condition that causes extreme discomfort, you can visit our Urgent Care Center. Urgent care differs from emergency care, it has hours of operation. Emergency care has to be available twenty-four hours a day, seven times a week. Emergency care is for critical conditions that can threaten a patient’s life or may leave the patient impaired. Urgent care, on the other hand, may wait a couple of hours. It is for serious problems that are not life-threatening but need medical help within twenty-four hours.

If you need unscheduled medical care, you can visit our Urgent Care Center after the traditional business hours. You might need urgent care medical services anytime. Probably you are injured or you are in pain and your primary care doctor is not available right now. Our physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners will provide you compassionate, quality medical help. Whether you have cuts, a twisted ankle, a sore throat, or broken bones, our professional physicians can help you.

Urgent cases that our doctors treat may include – but are not restricted to – the following: accidents, falls, broken bones, back problems, difficulty with breathing, severe abdominal pain, cuts that do not bleed a lot but need stitches, high fever, vomiting, dehydration, severe coughing, and asthma.

Some examples of conditions that can be treated at urgent care include:

  • Accidents and falls
  • Sprains and broken bones

  • Breathing difficulties
  • Severe abdominal pain
  • Bleeding/cuts -- not bleeding a lot but requiring stitches
