Coty is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner that sees patients of all ages. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the University of Michigan-Flint. Coty utilizes a practical and collaborative teaching style to engage patients in becoming active participants in their own health. She has rooted her practice in treating each patient as an unique individual and values shared decision making when developing a treatment plan. Coty has special interests in de-stigmatizing mental illness and furthering research on the long-term impacts of adverse childhood experiences.
Coty resides with her husband, two children and two goldendoodles. Thanks to her young son and daughter, she has extensive knowledge of both dinosaurs and princesses. She considers herself passionate about light roast coffee, not wearing dress shoes and anything with peanut butter.
